Couristan group their rugs into collections, such as Gem and Kashimar, Kathmandu and Lahore.
ll the pictures shown on this page are from Couristan's oriental collections, Gem and Kashimar. The top picture is from the Gem range, made in Belgium from 100% New Zealand semi-worsted wool pile. The patterns used for these rugs have been based on vintage rugs exhibited in museums in different parts of the world.
The other two pictures are both of Couristan rugs in the Kashimar range. This classic collection has been developed over more than 30 years, using as a basis ancient rug designs. This collection of power loom made oriental and Persian rugs is extensive, offering many choices in size, pattern and color.
